Slow Dance -
Unknown Author
Have you ever watched kids on a merry-go-round?
Or listened to the rain slapping on the ground?
Ever followed a butterfly's erratic flight?
Or gazed at the sun into the fading night?
You better slow down. Don't dance so fast.
Time is short. The music won't last.
Do you run through each day on the fly?
When you ask How are you?
Do you hear the reply?
When the day is done do you lie in your bed
With the next hundred chores running through your head?
You'd better slow down don't dance so fast.
Time is short. The music won't last.
Ever told your child, We'll do it tomorrow?
And in your haste, not see his sorrow?
Ever lost touch, let a good friendship die
Cause you never had time to call and say,'Hi'
You'd better slow down Don't dance so fast.
Time is short. The music won't last.
When you run so fast to get somewhere
You miss half the fun of getting there.
When you worry and hurry through your day,
It is like an unopened gift..Thrown away.
Life is not a race. Do take it slower
Hear the music, Before the song is over.
Lost
in Translation by Brian J. Zahn
(top)
There’s a place so bright
Where my
light doesn’t shine
A tunnel so clear
I blind by
design
If it weren’t for my heart
I swear I
could not feel
The warmth of my soul
Locked behind
my seal
If I’m pulled down drowning
To the depths
of my sea
Could it be the fears
And anxieties
in me
When the sun’s rays are faint
And the sky’s
not clear
It’s the lightening strikes
And
thunderbolts I hear
It’s the clarity unfocused
The truth
telling lies
The knowing playing tricks
And the
meaning that must hide
The purpose undefined
The belief in
contemplation
My understanding complex
I’m lost in
translation.
Go For It
by Brian J. Zahn
(top)
Take a moment and a deep breath
There's no reason to be upset
Be aware of your deep insides
And your happiness you will find
It's been dark for too long
Honor your light and be strong
You're life's worth living so just don't sit
Stand up tall and GO FOR IT
Believe in yourself and your sanity
Full of knowing and clarity
Let yourself grow just plant the seed
And live your life that's meant to be
Value yourself in all facets
And listen to your greatest asset
Connect to the one who knows you the best
And give your worries a deserved rest
Use the key that open's your doors
Let your life take flight and watch yourself soar
Remember your life's worth living so just don't sit
Stand up tall and GO FOR IT....
The
DASH - By Linda Ellis
(top)
I read of a man who stood to speak
at the funeral of a friend
He referred to the dates on her tombstone
from the begging to the end
He noted that first came the date of her birth
and spoke the following date with tears,
But he said what mattered most of all
was the dash between those years
For that dash represents all the time
that she spent alive on earth
And now only those who loved her
know what that little line is worth
For it matters not how much we own;
the cars, the house, the cash
What matters is how we live and love
and how we spend our dash
So think about this long and hard
are there things you'd like to change?
For you never know how much time is left
that can still be rearranged
If we could just slow down enough
to consider what's true and real
And always try to understand
the way other people feel
And be less quick to anger,
and show appreciation more
And love the people in our lives
like we've never loved before
If we treat each other with respect,
And more often wear a smile
Remembering that this special dash
might only last a little while.
So, when your eulogy is being read
with your life's action to rehash
Would you be proud of the things they say
about how you spent your dash?

performed by Faith Rivera & written by Faith Rivera,
Zuriani, Ted Jacobs

Let's dance like no one is
watching
Sing out loud, draw clouds in the air
Smile just like we need nothing
And play till we've let down our hair
Dreams do have wings like a butterfly
And miracles flow, gentle & warm as the sea
There are WONDERS in each
breath we do breathe
Every shining star's in our reach.I believe
Let's dream like there's no
tomorrow
Today's the first day in your life
To color the world with your rainbow
And laugh 'cause it's always in style
A blue sky gives birth to a starry night
And kindness does grow like leaves on a bountiful tree
There are WONDERS in each
breath we do breathe
Every shining star's in our reach, I believe.
Hey I believe in fairy tales,
angels too
and shooting for the moon
Believe you can't believe everything
Gotta seek your own truth
I do believe beauty lies in everyone yeah
There is nothing less perfection
Set into motion for you
There are WONDERS in each
breath we do breathe
Every shining star's in our reach, I believe.
There is magic in each step we do take
Come and wonder in all our love can create

"FREE
Hugs" Video
Sometimes, a hug is all that we need. Free hugs is the
real life controversial story of Juan Mann, A man whose
sole mission was to reach out and hug a stranger to
brighten up their life.
In this age of social disconnectivity and lack of human
contact, the effects of the Free Hugs campaign became
phenomenal. As this symbol of human hope spread
accross the city, police and officials ordered the Free
Hugs campaign Banned. What we then witnessed was the true
spirit of humanity coming together in what can only be
described as awe inspiring.
In the spirit of the Free Hugs campaign, pass this on to a
friend and hug a stranger! After all, If you can reach
just one person...
